La semana pasada pregunté en twitter "¿Cuál es su marca o diseñador favorito de menswear y por qué?" obtuve respuestas interesantes de amigos y bloggers. ¿Quieren saber qué dijeron? Bueno, sigan leyendo.

Last week I asked on twitter "What's your favourite menswear brand or designer? Why?" and I got interesting answers from friends and bloggers. Wanna know what did they say? Well, keep reading.

Eso sí es un reto, ¿no?

Afrontémoslo gente: la industria de la moda en México está a un billón de años luz de diferencia de la estadounidense (y no me atrevo a compararnos con la industria europea o asiática), pero ¿de quién es la culpa?

De todos.

La culpa es de todo mundo.

Sí, en esa onda católica de mea culpa.

¿Por qué?

Let's face it people: the fashion industry in Mexico is billion of light years away from the American one (I do not even dare to write about the European or Asian industry), but whose fault is this?

Everyone.

Everybody's fault.

Puppies are cute!

Después de leer el título han sido redirigidos a esta entrada escrita por mí, una blogger bastante irónica y con algunos problemas con el control de la ira, en lugar de alguna entrada toda rosita con brillitos y fotos de cachorritos tiernos en el blog de alguien más. PERO debo decir que efectivamente hay una foto de un perrito increíblemente apuesto: El Robin (OBVIAMENTE, o ¿qué se esperaban?)

OK now you were re-directed to this post by me, a quite ironic blogger with some anger-management issues, instead of a cute-all-pink-with-sparks post with cute puppies photos at somebody else's blog. BUT I have to say that there really IS a photo of a incredible cute and handsome dog: El Robin (OBVIOUSLY, what did you expect?).

Elle México Diseña, here I go

Justo ahora estoy en el largo, complicado y cansado proceso se hace un vestido de alta costura para el concurso de diseño más importante en México: Elle México Diseña (EMD). Hace algunos años fui finalista de este mismo concurso (con este vestido) y este año realmente me llegó la inspiración, así que ahora estoy haciendo el vestido. A mano. Todo a mano. Hasta lo voy a rebordar. Como couture de verdad. Sí, estoy un poco loca. Pero quedará hermoso. Así que esperen porque no publicaré mucho este mes por la total falta de tiempo que se aproxima. Pero les dejo la ilustración del vestido. (Sí, estoy posteándolo aquí y si alguien en algún lugar hace un vestido como este y lo llama como suyo, totalmente lo voy a seguir y patearé su cara por robar mi vestido. Lo aviso.)

Right now I am in the long, complicated and tiresome process of making a couture dress for the most important fashion design contest in Mexico: Elle Mexico Diseña (EMD). A few years ago I was finalist in this same contest (with this dress) and this year I really got the inspiration so I'm now making the dress. By hand. All of it. I'll even embroider it. Like actual couture. Yes, I know I'm kind of crazy. But it will be beautiful. So wait for it since I will not be blogging much this month for the absolute lack of time that is coming. But I leave you the illustration of the dress. (Yes, I am posting it here and if someone somewhere makes a dress like this and call it his/her own I will totally follow you and kick your face for stealing my dress. Just saying).

K-Pop for my Friends

Oyendo my iPod noté que hay bastante música koreana que me gusta y creo podría gustarle bastante a muchos de mis amigos. BASTANTE. Aunque sus cerebros se podrían derretir, estoy segura que lo disfrutarían. Y si no les gusta, finjan.
Como sea, pensé sería una buena idea hacer una sugerencia de acuerdo a los gustos de mis amigos bloggers y luego ver si mi teoría es correcta y al mismo tiempo hacer una especie de blogroll. Empecemos.
ESPEREN hay una advertencia: toda es música podría o no deterretir sus cerebros y luego no podrán dejar de cantar-bailar-aplaidir. Sí, todo eso es una palabra muy larga.

Listening to my iPod I found out that there's a lot of korean music I like and that many of my friends might also like a lot. A LOT. Even though their brains might melt, I'm sure they'll enjoy it. And if they don't, they should pretend.
Anyway, I though it'd be a good idea to make a single k-music suggestion according to my blogger friends' style and then look if my theory is correct while this turns into some kind of blogroll. Let's start.

WAIT there's a warning: all this music might or might not melt your brain and then you wont stop singing-dancing-clapping. Yes, all that is a very long word.
