Now and Then

Últimamente mi actividad favorita con mi mamá es ver Downton Abbey. Me encanta la historia, los personajes, la casa (¡OH POR DIOS la casa!), el vestuario (obviamente) y por supuesto, los hombres: desde el Earl con su cara de buena persona hasta el first footman que es súper hostil o el primo que es lindo y un poco fuera de lugar. TODOS con encantadores. Y no solo lo pienso yo, ya que el staff de GQ los vistieron en las colecciones de otoño 2012 para una editorial súper elegante y high fashion que los hace lucir igual de bien ahora que en la época edwardiana.
¿Qué opinan ustedes de toda esta elegancia y de estos caballeros?

Lately my favourite activity with my mom is watching Downton Abbey. I love the story, the charcaters, the house (OMG the house!), the costumes (OBVIOUSLY) and of course, the boys: from the Earl and his goodman face to the super hostile first footman and the cute-and-out-of-place cousin. ALL of them are charming. And not only I think so, since the GQ staff made them all wear the autumn 2012 collections for a super elegant and high fashion editorial that looks as good now and in the Edwardian era.
What do you think of this elegant fashions and gentlemen?

This editorial is pretty old, and sadly I didn't find the full data for the cast and crew. Anyway, the theme is the Gossip Girl style but with this interesting asian twist: furs, colour tights, printed socks, heels and preppy boys. It's perfect for any day, isn't it?

Gleek nails

 Me encantan las uñas coloridas. Siempre las uso muy cortas desde que era pequeña y tocaba el violín, así que las uñas largas no eran una opción. Después a mi querida maestra de piano le encantaban mis barnices brillantes y cada clase me las chuleaba. Amo la música, el color y, obviamente, Glee. Así que pueden imaginar mi felicidad cuando leí sobre la colaboración de Glee y Sephora by OPI para una colección especial que llegará a las tiendas en febrero y los televidentes en EEUU podrán ver los colores en el episodio del 8 de febrero. la colección tendrá diez barnices de tamañao regular, un mini-set de seis piezas y tres diseños de appliqués. No puedo esperar a tenerlos en mis manos... y mis uñas.

I looooooooove colourful nails. I always use them short since I was little and played the violin, so long nails was not an option. Later my dearest piano teacher loved my bright lacquers, and every calss told me a compliment for the vibrant colours. I love music, love colour and (obviously) love Glee. So, you can imagine my happiness when I read about this Sepora by OPI and Glee colaboration for an special collection that will hit the stores this February and the USA viewers will be able to catch a glance of the colours on the February 8 episode.The collection will have ten full-size lacquers, a six pieces mini-set and three nail print design appliqués. Can´t wait for having them in my hands and on my nails.
