"Don't Look!" Malafacha
La colección de Malafacha tuvo dos partes: una blanco, gris y negro y la otra colorida. Ésta dupla de diseñadores saben perfecto equilibrar las proporciones, coloridos y siluetas para crear una colección interesante y divertida. Amo que se note que ellos se divierten haciendo su trabajo.
The Malafacha collection had two parts: one in black, gray and white and another colouful one. This designers couple perfectly know how to balance proportions, colours and sillhouettes for a fun interesting collection. I love that it's obvious that they have fun doing their job.
"Russian Doll"
Manhes & Massun
Pretty headpieces, red lips and russian inspiration were somethings seen at Manhes & Massun collection. Green, beige, black and red details were the colours. The look was a good girl gone edgy with huge bows and roses, midi skirts, bluses and interesting blazers.
Llamativos tocados, labios rojos e inpiración rusa fueron vistas en el desfile de Manhes & Massun. Verde, beige, negro, azul y detalles rojos fueron los colores. El loof fue de niña buena volviéndose arriesgada con enormes moños y rosas, faldas midi, blusas camiseras y blazers interesantes.
"Back to Black" Pineda Covalín
I swear that every time I walk infront of the Pineda Covalin store on Reforma I wana cry looking at their beautiful accessories, wonderful graphics and marvelous fabrics next to some awful garments. But this collection made me smile. Made me feel happy with their clean tailoring in menswear and womenswear, the fine details and accessories with the brand's graphics. The elegance is back in this brand, it's black in black, grey, blue and red.
Juro que cada vez que camino frente a la tienda de Pineda Covalín en reforma me dan ganas de llorar al ver sus hermosos acceosrios, maravillosos gráficos y bellas telas junto a prendas horrorosas. Pero ésta colección me hizo sonreír. Me hizo sentir feliz con su limpia sastrería para hombre y mujer, los finos detalles y accesorios con los grpaficos de la marca. La elegancia ha vuelto en ésta marca, ha vuelto en negro, gris, azul y rojo.

From the three colleges that presented this season the UIA and CENTRO achieved in create a collection wearable, trendy in a very simple way, clean in sillhouettes and with their own winter colours. They show that great design doesn't need big garments, details excess and pointless shapes.
De las tres escuelas que presentaron en ésta edición la UNA y CENTRO lograron crear colecciones usables, trendys de una maera sencilla, con siluetas limpias y con sus propios colores invernales. Nos han mostrado que el buen diseño no necesita grandes prendas, exeso de detalles ni formas sin sentido.
"Kiss Kiss" Julia y Renata
Even thoug everyone melts in pretty words for this collection it didn't seem that gorgeous to me. Definitely not the best I've ever seen but certeinly a fresh approach for the mexican market. This collection was all in neutral colours, floaty shapes and heavy fabrics in a very asian style. It was beautiful, clean and perfect in many ways, just like every collection should be. And these sisters really know how to do it.
Aunque todo mundo se derretía en halagos por ésta colección, a mí no me pareció tan maravilloso. Definitivamente no es una de las mejor que he visto en mi vida, pero ciertamente es una fresa cpropuesta para el mercado mexicano. Ésta colección fue toda en tonos neutrales, formas flotantes y telas pesadas en un estilo que se me hace asiático. Es hermosa, limpia y perfecta en muchas maneras, justo como todas las colecciones deberían ser. Y éstas hermanos realmente saben cómo hacerlo.
"I love my Skirt!" Clara González
Seems Clara González is getting better and better. Every time her collections are more polished and she´s getting a level of elegance that I din't imagined when I saw her first collection: knee high skirts, simple blouses, feathers, long column dresses... She only has one little (HUGE) detail: it's impossible to think that her catwalk dresses are there in pretty fabrics and awful linning!
Parece que Clara González mejora y mejora. Cada vez que veo sus colecciones son más pulidas y está lelgando a un nievel de elgancia que no había imaginé cuando vi su primer colección: hay faldas a la rodilla, blusas senciallas, detalles de plumas, vestidos columna... Sólo hay un pequeño (ENORME) detalle: no es posible que sus vestido en pasarela estén hechos de hermosas telas y forros horrosos y visibles.

"Pleats please!" Alberto Rodríguez
Even though there were not espectacular nor amazing dresses, all of them had a special detail for being gorgeous. Rodríguez show us that there are many ways to make eveningwear and this season are the jewel tones fabrics.
Aunque los vestidos no eran espectacular ni sorprendentes, todo tenían un detalle que los hacían maravillosos. Rodríguez muestra que hay muchas maneras de hacer vestidos de noche y éste temporada fueron las telas en tonos de joyas.
"Two of a kind" Cubo
The dark and neutral tones with bright pops of colour were the perfect combo for the balance in the Cubo collection. There they are, one of the some collections for both genders, showing us colour blocking, cropped garments, layering and drapped dresses. Youthful, elegant and trendy.
Los notos oscuros y neutrales junto con los pops de color brillante fueron la combinación perfecta de equilibro en la colección de Cubo. Aquí está una de las pocas colecciones para ambos sexos mostrándonos bloques de color, prendas encimadas y cortas y vestidos drapeados. Juvenil, elegante y trendy.
"Simple" Love is Back
"Simple" is the perfect word for this collection full of basics, comfortable garments without new amazing sillhouettes or shapes or details. Simply a colourful collection of basics. Let's face it, we all need such pretty clothes in our wardrobes. Decide if that is good or bad.
"Simple" es la palabra perfecta para ésta colección llena de prendas básicas y cómodas sin ningún tipo de nueva y sorprendente silueta ni forma ni detalle. Simplemente una colorida colección de básicos. Afrontémoslo, todos necesitamos de esas bonitas prendas en nuestro guardarropa. Decidan ustedes si eso es bueno o malo.
