Aquí en México entre todos hacemos la industria de la moda (sí, ya sé que suena super optimista cual sacado de una canción de Mika). Justamente estaba pensando en eso cuando Artemiza lo twiteó hace unos días y después de eso salió el concurso de Sister U Design, donde debía hacer un gráfico para una camiseta y el diseño ganador será producido por la marca. Suena bien, ¿no? Para eso tomé como inspiración una mezcla extraña entre los insiders de la industria pero también a la gente que aparentemente no tiene nada que ver con la moday todos esos que hacen pequeñas cosas a mano y que son desconocidos por la mayoría. Justo como una chica tejiendo. Sí, a mí también me encanta tejer.
Como sea, ¿les gustó mi camiseta? Si sí, pueden votar por ella para que sea la ganadora! Sólo denle "me gusta" en el facebook de Sister y después en mi camiseta :D


Yes, here in Mexico we all together make the fashion industry (yes, I know it sounds like a Mika lyric). I took a deep thought about it when Artemiza twitted that a few days ago... After that, the Sister U Design contest came out (I had to make a graphic for t-shirt), and the winner disegn will be produced by the brand. Pretty cool isnt it? For that my inspiration was a mix of all the indutry insiders there are but also all the people who apparently has nothing to do with fashion or all those who make little handmade stuff and are unknown. Just like a girl kniting. Yes, I love kniting too.

Oh, I love this house!

Sí, lo acepto: soy una fanática del infierno. ¡Pero no es mi culpa! El nuevo álbum de Patrick Wolf "Lupercalia" es tan genial y hermoso y feliz y maduro e inspirador. Especialmente inspirador. Así que con esas hermosas canciones en mi cabeza (y mis itunes) hice esto.

Yes, I accept it: I am a fan from hell. But it's not my fault! Patrick Wolf's new album "Lupercalia" is just awesome and beautiful and happy and mature and inspiring. Especially inspiring. So with so many pretty songs in my head (and itunes) I made this.

Hoy fue el Día del Padre y mis hermanos y yo cocinamos lasagna para nuestro papá (mi mamá no estuvo así que nos tocó a nosotros). Nos divertimos hablando de cosas sin sentido y ésto fue lo que usé hoy.

Today was the Father's Day and my siblings and I made some lasagna for our dad ('cause mom wasn't at home). We had some fun talking about senseless stuff, and this is what I wore today.

¿Alguna vez han escuchado una canción y luego visto el video y luego sonreír? Me encanta cuando eso sucede (aunque es triste que eso no suceda a menudo). La última vez que me había pasado fue al ver el video "The City" de Patrick-cásate-conmigo-Wolf. Y después de eso fue hace 5 minutos al ver el video del nuevo sencillo "House". Y sonreí tanto y amé la canción y el styling es increíble y la casa es genial y... bueno, es perfecta. Y por supuesto no puedo quedármelo yo sola.
Lo único que odio es que todos los sencillos de Lupercalia NO están disponibles en la iTunes store de México!! ¡¡¿Por qué me hacen eso?!! Hum.... bueno, perdón, pero tenía que expresar mi odio.

Have you ever listened to a song and then watch the video and then smile? I love when that happens (so sad that it doesn't very often). The last time that happened to me was with the video "The City" by Patrick-marry-me-Wolf. And 5 minutes ago I watched the new single "House", and I smiled so much and loved the song and the styling is gorgeous and the house is marvelous and... well, it's bloody perfect. And of course I cannot keep it to myself.
The only thing I hate is that all this Lupercalia singles are NOT available in the Mexico iTunes store!!!! What's wrong with them?! Sorry, I had to say it.
